I have more than 15 years of print, web and digital design experience. I have lived and worked as a Designer/Illustrator in three countries—Mexico (current location), USA (my citizenship and home country) and England (5 years).

I am passionate about books and started my career by studying book design at the London College of Printing (now the London College of Communication). Later I fine tuned my skills at the Loyola University Press (now Loyola Press) and other educational publishers in Chicago. Most recently I have been helping independent authors create amazing professional books.

Besides design, I have an MFA in painting and I am a fine art photographer. I run analogue photography workshops —Agave Darkroom Photography. My husband is a botanist specializing in cactus. Together we have also illustrated a line of t-shirts and a cactus coloring book all under the name of Cactus Infrared. And the list continues! I am mother of amazing daughters, a circus performer and a water aerobics instructor. Variety is the spice of life!
