I have a wide portfolio, but for the last 7 years I have dedicated myself to my passion—book design (covers & interiors). I have lived and worked in three countries—USA (my citizenship and home country), Mexico (5 years), and England (5 years). With a partner, we have recently started a hybrid press, Wild Rising Press, so I can reach more authors and artists and do more books!

I started my career by studying book design at the London College of Printing (now London College of Communication). I fine tuned my skills at the Loyola University Press (now Loyola Press) and other publishers in Chicago. Most recently I have been helping independent authors create professional books.

I have an MFA in painting and photography. I run analogue photography workshops via Agave Darkroom. With my husband, a botanist, we have illustrated a line of cactus t-shirts and a cactus coloring book (Cactus Infrared). And the list continues! I am mother of amazing daughters, a circus performer and a water aerobics instructor. Variety is the spice of life!
